NOBODY WAS BORN FOOLISH

Posted by clemmyh on April 30, 2012 at 10.00 PM
Personally I don't think anybody in this world was ever born foolish.Even people we may see failing in whatever they do,have no form of respect, have lost life completely and there life seems to be in a complete mess were not born foolsh atall.
To me the genious and the so called foolish were born the same, its only that in the course of their life journey, the so-called genious developed or were helped to develop immense thirst for knowledge.
They made it their habit to learn and learn from their mistakes, while mostly focusing their lives in acheiving a predefined goal,a goal they so much envision. They then end up becoming complete experts in these fields as per the human knowledge.
Its about thinking, what do you think?Feel free to comment.

                END OF GUARDIOLA ERA

Pep Guardiola has announced that he will leave his position as Barcelona coach at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old had already informed his squad of his decision to leave his Camp Nou post earlier on Friday, and the Catalan has now publicly confirmed that he will not extend his expiring contract with the Blaugrana.

The former Spain international claimed three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues among his 13 trophies during his time at the helm, after succeeding Frank Rijkaard as in 2008 after previously leading the club's B' team.

Guardiola admitted that his decision to leave the Blaugrana had been made in autumn, but only decided to reveal the news to his players and to the media following his side's exit from the Champions League and the Primera Division title race.

"I want you to understand this isn't a simple decision. but I'll try to explain what I feel and I hope that people understand. I'm deeply sorry for the confusion over the last few weeks," Guardiola stated at a press conference.

"I've always wanted short contracts because the demand at Barca is so big. I lived that as a player, and I know exactly how it works. I always thought that four years is an eternity for a club. I didn't want to have a contract that will bind me to decisions I didn't want.

"In the autumn, I announced to the president and director of football that it was the end of my era at Barca, but I couldn't say that to the players, because it would have been too complex then. Now that we're out of the two main competitions, it's a good time to announce."

The former midfielder then went on to stress that the main reason for his departure is the exhaustive nature of the job, and that his family did not affect his decision.

"Family didn't have an influence," he insisted. "My partner knows me from when I was a player, kids are still young. It was a personal decision.

"Four years makes everyone tired. I told the president that my era was nearing its end around September or October. The new coach will be able to give things I'm not able to give any more.

"Talking to the press and players for four years is very demanding. Perhaps we wouldn't have gone wrong, but I had a feeling that we would. I know what I'm leaving - that it's the best place, but it's the right time."

Guardiola also reserved special praise for midfielder Seydou Keita, who has never managed to nail down a regular starting berth during his tenure and yet remained an integral member of the squad.

"Keita has been my ethical and moral barometer," he confessed. "I watched him to see if I was doing a good or bad job."

Guardiola went on to pay tribute to the rest of his toops collectively, and insisted that he needs time to recharge his batteries, while revealing that he does not wish to return to coaching immediately as he looks to take a sabbatical.

"I don't have anything to prove, I'm not interested in proving myself abroad and will go away from football at the moment," he explained.

"I want to thanks my players who have been responsible for everything I have had here - it's been a privilege to train them. I did it all with a lot of passion, but I want to thank the players. Day by day, for so many years, they made it all possible.

"I don't have any energy left, I need to recharge. I need to recover the passion that I had when I first started - time has taken its toll. I just don't feel the same. Barca don't deserve that. That's all I'm going to say.

"I know that being at Barca is a privilege, but I believe I'm doing the right thing. I'm at peace with my decision.

"I'm going with the understanding that I've done my duty, and I'm proud of everything I did. This club is an unstoppable force. My replacement will be very able, and will do his job marvellously."

Zubizarreta confirmed soon after that current assistant coach Tito Vilanova will be the club's new boss from next season on and the outgoing coach insisted that he will allow his successor to work in peace, outlining his desire to make a clean break with the club.

"I will leave and I won't intervene anymore," he declared. "Now it's up to Tito; I'm setting a step aside. I'll be here until the cup final.

"I won't keep the titles, I will keep the memories of personal relations, what we lived together. That has been the best part.

"There are more things than football. I will rest and maybe one day I will say, now let's train. But maybe not. Let's just see where life takes me."

Guardiola's final game will be the Copa del Rey final clash with Athletic Bilbao at the Vicente Calderon on May 25.

                                                LICEU
When I came here
I found you were a day old
My friend Liceu

And other first years
Bubbling with enthusiasm
Hungry for success

Yesterday you were almost five months old
Depressed,tired and bedridden
Fast waning and losing hope in life

Today you are no more
Dead and gone
Hopefully to heaven

Life is like that
If you can hear me
My friend Liceu

You must make wise decisions
And associate with the correct people
With the right ambitions and attitudes

Goodbye
Till we meet again
My friend Liceu

                                        HERE
I am here
Musiepa,my friend
I am here
With you
Do you remember the sadness
Of those days in high school
The days we used to sleep
Only three hours a night
And four hours in the afternoon in class
Dozing,reading and 'working hard'
To come to the university

Musiepa my friend
We are here
We are here now
To pursue our dreams
I am writing verses to you Musiepa
You used to say that you wanted to be a doctor
No,sorry,you said an engineer
Musiepa my friend
Do you want to be an engineer when you grow up

Hopefully Musiepa
We shall still march to our dreams
And the make the impossible possible
Methinks we shall move mountains
And the place to do it
Is here
Yes,here

KISII TOWN(in kenya)

The Kisii are regarded as one of the most economically active communities in Kenya, with rolling tea estates, coffee, and banana groves. However, Kisii district has a very high population density.
It is one of the most densely populated areas in Kenya (after the two cities of Nairobi and Mombasa), and the most densely populated rural area. It also has one of the highest fertility and population growth rates in Kenya (as evidenced by successive census and demographic surveys). In fact the fertility rate of Kisii ranks among the highest in the world, (see Kenyan Conundrum: A Regional Analysis of Population Growth and Primary Education (Paperback) by Juha I. Uitto [Author]). These factors have ensured the Kisii to be among the most geographically widespread communities in East Africa. A disproportionately large number of Kisiis have gone abroad in search of education.
The Kisii are some of the most heavily represented Kenyans in foreign (usually Indian and American) universities and a few in the United Kingdom. Their lands are currently overpopulated despite their rolling fertile hills, spurring immigration to other cities in Kenya and a substantial representation in the United States, especially in major hub cities like Houston, Atlanta, Jersey City, Dallas and Minneapolis-Saint Paul.
The hard cash that flows from the diaspora has spawned significant economic prosperity in a locale lacking in politically motivated 'hand-me downs'.
Names like Areri, Arasa, Bogonko, Bosire, Isaboke, Mairura, Makori, Mogaka, Mogeni, Momanyi, Moseti, Motieri, Nyambane, Nyambati, Ocharo, Onchiri, Ongeri, Onkoba, Onsomu, Onyoni, Osebe, Otwori, Nyakoni, Bagwasi, Omanwa, Ongori, among others are common family names just like Smith and Johnson in the Anglo-Saxon cultures. Female names such as Biyaki, Bitutu, Moraa, Nyanchama, Monchari, Nyaboke, Nyatichi, Kemunto, Kerubo, Kwamboka, Kerebi, Gesare, Buyaki, Bwari, Bosibori, Bochaberi, Kemuma, and others are also common names given to girls.
One of the most known features in Kisii town,in fact something which residence are really proud of is the reknowned Kisii University. Its the only one of its kind in this part of the country and is actually doing well, infact a recent survey of government corporations ranked it as the 3rd most well doing institution in the country,of organized when you look at all the sectors,be it academics, discipline etc.
I think one common misplaced belief is that there are alot of food in this very fertile town, its very wrong to say that way.For amost 2 months there was a serious shortage of vegetables in this town. But the funny part of it is that it really affected university students,so much so that most were hard complaining that they really misses, for instance kales.I personally think thats a good indication because it demonstrates that in africa we are also appreciating the consumption of vegetables, which is hugely encouraged by health researchers.

Some of the sayings from gusii community, the traditional inhabitants of Kisii include:

Mominchori 'imi tang'ana more 'ibu
Mominchori refers to an early riser while mosera ibu refers to a person who keeps in-doors. Rimi is morning dew. It therefore means that a person who rises up early and goes out braving the morning dew is much better economically than one who remains at home, feels lazy to venture out there to fend for himself. Lesson: We should all strive to excel and avoid laziness.

'Keumbu kiaare nkegundi 'moba
Ekeumbu is the ant hill in which mushrooms flourish. In essence, ekeumbu which is distant tends to be forgotten hence the mushrooms end up rotting. It therefore implies that it is easier to tend to something within our reach more effectively than one that is miles away.

Nyama 'nke yaria bokima 'kee
Ekee is that traditional bowl woven out of chimboba chia obori. Until recently, this was the sole plate and bowl used by our fore-fathers in ugali and other stuff. It means literally that small piece of meat can consume large quantity of ugali. The real hidden meaning is that something you might refer as a small issue can cause untold damage.

'Mwana obande, 'mamiria makendu
It means that one first and foremost attends to issues affecting him as a person before he can think of neighbour.

Ebiabande nsongora igoti, ebiao nkunyunyu
When a situation arises that you are eating/feasting at a friend's place, you are very ready and willing to attend. But when it is your turn to give, you are unwilling. We should be generous and give with happiness just as we are willing to receive.

Abange mbaya, nekero bariete kiane nkaigwa bobe
When you have some problem, you feel good when many people come and assist in the spirit of unity. The problem is shared and happiness prevails. But, when the many people come to eat from you, you tend to be offended because you will spend a lot.

CHELSEA'S EFFORT REWARDED

Didier Drogba scored the decisive goal of the game, sweeping home a Ramires cross just before the break, and while Pep Guardiola's side will no doubt feel aggrieved as to how they failed to take something from the match, Cech admitted there was still a long way to go in the tie. 'It was an amazing game from our point of view, we knew it was going to be difficult, we played to our maximum, everybody was on top of their game and we had a little bit of luck,' said the Blues' shot-stopper.
'I think we deserved it because of the way we kept our focus throughout the 90 minutes, we got the reward of a good result, but we know how difficult it was and we are still far away from the job being done.
'It wasn't perfect because they had chances, but we did all we could and there was amazing quality in the team, everybody gave 100 per cent. Tactically we tried to stay organised all the time and we are not used to playing for 90 minutes without the ball, so mentally it's difficult to stay focused.
'We got the goal, went 1-0 up and then it was about our focus and we did what we could. It was fantastic timing because they'd started having lots of chances, but when you play them, every time you have the ball and have a chance to create something you have to go for it because you don't have the ball as much as you would like.
'You need to use the ball well, we had a great counter-attack, they weren't organised and in the end it was a great pass from Ramires to Didier [Drogba], and in front of goal he isn't going to miss.'
With the Spaniards dominating possession for the majority of the game, it was inevitable that the Blues goal would come under siege at various points, and so it proved. Both Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas should have scored before the break, while Pedro hit the post in added time.
Cech, meanwhile, so often the man for the big occasion, proved his worth by saving well from Andres Iniesta in the first half, before denying Adriano and Puyol later in the game, as well as making a number of crucial interceptions as the visitors looked to open us up with quick passes.
'I try to do my best all the time, try to be in good positions and have the advantage when shots come in and you have to say the back four was absolutely fantastic making the blocks, and we had the strategy that one against one there would be someone to cover, so it was a fantastic performance,' he said.
'Sometimes that's the way it goes, sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you are unlucky. In football, things can change quickly, but 1-0 doesn't make a big difference. We have the advantage and they didn't score an away goal, but they are playing at home where they always score a lot of goals. We couldn't have asked for more, we did what we could tonight and it was a great result.'
Having lost only one game in 13 under the stewardship of Roberto Di Matteo, the Blues are thriving. Last night's win against Barcelona - the Catalan side's first defeat since February - came only three days after a 5-1 FA Cup semi-final win against Tottenham, and with another important assignment away at Arsenal in the league on Saturday, confidence, as Cech admits, is flowing through the team.
'We changed the manager and got a few good results; from that point, the confidence of the team was growing and you can see once you feel more confident the results come,' said Cech.
'The games are coming thick and fast and we don't really have time to think about each match. Almost every game is like a big final, on Saturday we play Arsenal in another massive game, before we go to Barcelona.
'Last time we kept a clean sheet at the Camp Nou but we went out because of the away goal they scored here. They didn't get an away goal tonight but it will be very important for us to score over there."The Italian said."
